The St Virgil's College Early Learning Centre is located at 102 Patrick Street, Hobart and has its own Reception to allow parents and carers to easily drop their son off to school.
The purpose-built Centre is a modern space, designed with boys in mind. It includes sandpit with excavator, area to ride trikes, sturdy artificial grass, garden, and water pump and creek bed, which supports the St Virgil's Early Learning Philosophy and authentic play experiences. Students also regularly discover the College surrounds for bush play and attend the Austins Ferry campus to be further immersed in the natural environment.
The classrooms are spacious, allowing for students to inquire, problem solve and reflect, and find joy in learning. Many stations of activities are set out to pique their interest and the upstairs 'cubby house' area provides an escape for quieter reflection and discovery.
