Deputy Principal: Head of Junior School 

The Head of Junior School is a senior position within the College’s Leadership structure commencing in 2022. As the College embarks upon this exciting time in its distinguished history it is seeking to appoint a dynamic and innovative Head of Junior School who is an experienced, passionate and committed Catholic educational leader. The Head of Junior School will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Junior campus, ensuring that all learning and teaching is consistent with the mission of a Catholic school for boys in the tradition of Blessed Edmund Rice. 

The position will have enhanced responsibilities over the next three years with the St Virgil’s Junior School expanding to progressively include Kindergarten to Grade 2.

Rowing Coaches 

St Virgil’s College has a rich and proud tradition of rowing and has launched the careers of countless rowers who have gone on to compete at National and International level. Rowing at St Virgil’s is experiencing a period of considerable growth and success as evidenced by the College winning both the 2020-21 All Schools and Head of the River Junior Boys’ Shields. This growth will continue with the addition of Year 11 2023 and Year 12 in 2024. To support this growth the College is seeking expressions of interest for junior, senior, lead and assistant coaches.

Relief Teacher Register 

Teachers registered to teach in Tasmania are invited to send an updated Curriculum Vitae (including details of two professional referees) to Human Resources for inclusion on the College's Relief Teacher Register.

All applicants will be contacted by the Daily Organiser regarding upcoming casual and/or short term contract work.

Suitably qualified, experienced and motivated Teacher Assistants are encouraged to register their interest with the College for full time, part time and casual relief work. A letter of application and current Curriculum Vitae should be emailed to Human Resources.
