Reintroduction of Year 11

The atmosphere was undeniably electric as the Year 11s start their learning in the Callan Centre on Wednesday March 15. Along with the classrooms, the Student Lounge was a hit as our young men unwind in between class, inspecting the facilities, taking a seat for lunch and setting up table tennis in record time.

In a space to call their own, they are facing their learning and future goals head on with maturity and autonomy and we could not be more proud.

The building takes in views over River Derwent (arguably the best outlook on campus) and has been named after Callan, Ireland, the town in which Edmund Rice was born. What an ideal fit as it houses the next generation of leaders.
