Rowing Volunteers & Coaching

Coaching

The Rowing Program cannot function without coaches. Rowing are all volunteers and are typically former students and parents. Coaches play an important role in mentoring, guiding and teaching students rowing and life skills through the sport of rowing. The program seeks assistance with coaching from both parents and the wider community. Both experienced and non experienced rowers are encouraged to consider coaching. Coaching is a rewarding and enjoyable way to be involved in the life of the College and its Rowing Program.

Boat Drivers

Each training session, boat drivers are required to drive motor boats to allow coaches to focus on coaching. This can be a great way to see what goes on on the water, and help contribute to the program.

For those that do not have their boat license but are interested in obtaining a license, the club runs boat drivers license courses.

Anyone wishing to volunteer in the rowing program need to complete the following form and be approved by the College.
